About two weeks ago, we officially moved Brooke to a “big girl” bed (really just a mattress on the floor). We bought her princess sheets and made a big deal that only big girls get to sleep in a bed like this. She absolutely loves it, and has to show it to everyone that comes to our house.
Unfortunately, she is not so good at staying in her bed while she is asleep. We always seem to find her in the morning half way under the chair, or she is completely on the other side of the room. I have only found her once still in her bed the next morning. But every night we ask her if she wants to sleep in her crib or her “big girl” bed, and she always chooses the “big girl” bed!
I can’t believe how big my little girl is getting!
We had a bit of a problem with that when Madison started her big-girl bed…She kept coming into our room and we’d send her back. Then one morning we woke up and she was standing next to our bed with her head down on the mattress and she was TOTALLY asleep. I don’t think we had that problem after that!
Annie was like Brookelyn, just excited!
