Your Life Would Suck Without This

For the last several months Josh as been working on this awesome project at work. It is an iPhone App for Kelly Clarkson. The app challenges your singing abilities by asking you to sing along with Kelly Clarkson on songs from her latest album, All I Ever Wanted, and sing them right. This game monitors both the pitch and timing of your singing. If you sing well enough, you might even win the chance to sing with Kelly’s band during the soundcheck at an upcoming show, and go to a special meet & greet with Kelly!

It has been one of those projects that he has not been able to talk about until now. We just got the official word that it was approved and launched today.

Here is a link to Josh’s blog if you are interested in more details.

Help Us Name Our Baby!

Actually, you really don’t get to name our baby, but we do want your opinion. In the poll listed on the side are a few names that we are possibly considering. Josh and I are struggling agreeing on any. I won’t tell you which ones he likes or which ones I like, we simply want to know which ones you like! If you have any REAL suggestions for us that are not listed in the poll, please leave a comment.

Little Gym

For the last six months, Brooke has been taking a gymnastics class at the Little Gym. Today was her last day, so I thought I would post some pictures.gym2

Her she is during bubble time. I wish I had taken my video camera, but I didn’t. So I need you all to just imagine a high pithed “girly” scream to fully appreciate this picture! She loves the bubbles.

Here she is with Ms. Lila doing a version of  a front hand spring.

We are sad to be done with gymnastics for now, but luckily we can still participate in the “Parent Survival Nights” so Brooke can still go play once in awhile, and Josh and I can go play without her. Yay for us!!!!

We are taking at least this next semester off, just to make things less complicated when we have the baby and also because she will be starting preschool once a week and possibly a singing class once a week as well. So hopefully she will like those as much as she loved gymnastics!

This Is What Happens When You Wake Up Too Early!

Doorway This is how Josh and I found Brooke this morning.

She has a morning routine of loading either her shopping cart or her doll stroller full of the toys she wants to play with that morning. Then she pushes them over to her door, where there normally is a gate up (we just took it down before the picture was taken). Then she waits for us to open her gate and let her out to play. Normally this all happens after we are up and have gone in her room and woken her up.

Apparently sometime last night she woke up thinking it was morning, did her routine, then fell asleep waiting for us to let her out. We have no idea what time she did all of this, but I definitely am glad we have the gate, because who knows where we might find her if we didn’t.
