Dancing Queen

Last Tuesday, we went to Thanksgiving Point with Jason, Lindsay and Jack for “Two Buck Tuesdays.” While there, Jack and Brooke decided to get in some practicing for the next family talent show.

Here is Jack, the man behind the music!

Here is our “Dancing Queen.”

Unfortunately I am a bad videographer and didn’t record the break dancing portion or the grand finale when she tossed two sticks in the air!

June in Review

Summer has been crazy here at the Buhler home, just as I am sure it has been for many of you. I am going to attempt to do a quick review of all our summer fun this week, just so we can look back and remember it, and so when my kids are older and accuse us of being boring people, I will have proof that for atleast one summer of their lives we had fun!

Here is our quick review of June.

Brooke started her first dance class (I am sure many of you saw the video.) She loved every second of it and she can’t wait for it to start back up next month.

We had a fun day at the Zoo with Brooke’s play group.

Here is our #1 Dad on Father’s Day! He is so great with our girls and they are so lucky to have him as their father.

We spent a weekend at the Palmer Cabin for the Ainge Family reunion. Josh and I were lucky enough to ditch the kids for a little bit and do some 4 Wheeling! This picture was at the top of the mountain we road up.

The Buhler Bunch made their debut at the Ainge Family Talent show.

Brooke got to go visit Aunt Shalise at work. They have a date every six months!

Sienna is growing more and more each day. She finally got tall enough to touch the floor in her walker and jumper. Before we had to pile books or boxes for her to stand on.

Stay tuned for all the fun and exciting times that happened at our house in July! I know you can’t wait! :)

Links

In case you have not noticed, we added some links to the bottom right hand side of the page. These links are there to entertain you when you get bored from reading our blog. The Duck Hunt link is a Flash recreation of the original Nintendo game “Duck Hunt” that Josh made a while back.  The second link I can has cheezburger? is a site for all you cat lovers. Josh showed this to me about a year ago, and now I check it daily just for a laugh! Enjoy!!!

Silas Blaine Webb

Finally little Silas came home from the hospital last week. I have included some pics so you can see just how cute this little boy is. I have never seen a baby with so much expression this young. The pics don’t completely show it, but when you hold this little guy you know exactly how he feels just by his face. He already has a huge smile, and when he is uncomfortable or grumpy, his little forehead completely wrinkles up!

I love being an aunt!

Electric Bill Update.

Because I know you are all dying to know whether my suffering in the heat has been worth it, here is your update. I just received my electric bill and it is 34% less then it was last year. To me this is a huge victory. I saved a lot more then I was expecting to save. I realize the weather was probably a factor, since the beginning of June was fairly cool, but I feel that my hot afternoon’s and keeping my blinds shut all day (or at least when the sun is shining on that particular window) definitely made a difference. If there is anyone else out there that is trying to cut cost or just trying to go green to save our planet, this is definitely one approach that works.

Although, now that my experiment is over I think I will be taking the advice that several of you gave me and changing my electric plan over so it is the same every month.

Thanks for all of your input!
